Education & Experience

Joyce Miller is the chief editor and permissions acquisition specialist for IWS. She began her career as a university instructor focusing on composition, literature, and creative writing.

She draws from 30+ years of experience as a freelance writer, author, editor, intellectual property manager, and researcher. She has served as editor for a national trade/academic journal. She has also worked as an editor with content developmental and intellectual property managment responsibilities encompassing all the intellectual property issues associated with several government-funded (i.e. NASA) projects that produced educational CDs and online interactive content used to educate students worldwide.
